Position
We are currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to work 3 - 4 days per week (Flexible hours). The focus of this role is to undertake bookkeeping tasks to a high level. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Accurate, efficient and timely maintenance of clients books, payments of accounts, cash
flow forecasting and maintaining general ledgers.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Process and preparation of periodic BAS and PAYG calculations and other statutory
returns as required.
- Meeting all client obligatory deadlines.
- General administration including filing systems.
- Preparation and processing of payroll and superannuation.
- Debtor and creditor management.
- Liaising with clients and their accountants.
- Any other administration or bookkeeping task as required.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will have completed a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or have the equivalent qualification, and/or 5 years or more experience. Have a very high level of accuracy and efficiency when completing tasks, and the ability to take direction with effective and professional communication skills.
You will have experience using a variety of accounting packages including MYOB and Xero and strong MS office skills.
You must have a current drivers licence as all work is carried out at our clients offices in the metro area.
